Hi. I'm Heather!

As a benefactor of and contributor to the diabetes online community, I can personally attest to its greatness. If you are like me, you are even aware of specific ways in which online support benefits your life. HOWEVER, in a world that necissitates empirical evidence, cause and effect, and strong correlational data, our personal warm feelings are not enough.

I created this website in order to begin empirically understanding the benefits offered by the diabetes online community toward individual wellness and collective prosperity. The first step of that process is gathering perspective from you!

As a budding researcher, I have the opportunity to build a legacy of research that integrates patient perspectives at every tier: question development, design, methods, etc.

This website serves as the initial portal for developing the questions that WE want answered.
